(1) Since 1950s, hot stoves have been mainly conventional internal combustion hot stoves, and many small and medium-sized blast furnaces are still using ordinary internal combustion hot stoves. In 1969, Hogovin's improved internal combustion hot stove was successfully applied in Europe and America. The improved hot-blast stove is a significant improvement and optimization of the traditional internal combustion hot-blast stove, also known as the high-temperature and long-life hot-blast stove, which was introduced into China after 1980. The key technology of Hogovin's improved internal combustion hot blast stove is to make the masonry structure have reliable high temperature stability. The shape of arch brick of hot blast stove is catenary, which improves the stress condition of masonry, increases the structural stability, and is beneficial to the uniform distribution of high temperature flue gas on the end surface of the regenerator. When the arch top is separated from the wall brick, its load is borne by the furnace shell, so that the expansion of the two will not affect each other, and the stress state of arch masonry is improved. Rectangular ceramic burner is used to ensure that gas and air are fully and uniformly mixed, which eliminates combustion pulsation and improves the effective area of regenerator. Silicon brick is used in high temperature zone. At present, the average wind temperature is between 1150 and 1200 C.
